Marty BoardmanVice President Fields & Schedulingmarty@bcssoccer.com | The Vice-President of Fields shall work closely with the Parks and Recreation Departments to help maintain a good relationship. Will assist VP-PR in helping secure donations that benefit the parks and recreation department and the BCSSL. Will maintain contact with youth soccer leagues in area to help improve field quality. The Vice-President will work with the president/registrar to determine scheduling needs. Will determine seedings for tournaments and will work with other leagues to set up intra-league tournaments. Will work with youth leagues to help promote (in conjunction with VP-PR) general soccer tournaments in region. |
Brandon ProuseSecretary | The Secretary shall record the minutes of all meetings and shall be custodian of all correspondence initiated by the league. The secretary shall give notice of all meetings and make available upon request all activities of the League to the community. Will also be responsible for supervising the webmaster and making sure the website is kept up to date with schedules and results. |
Scott ScherrVice President Legal Affairs | The Vice-President of Legal Affairs will work with President and Treasurer to secure appropriate insurance and to advise the league on any legal matters which may arise. Also will assist with the maintenance of the League’s non-profit status. |
Matthew MooreCorporate Relations Officer | Is responsible for working with VP's and President to increase synergy with corporate sponsors and maintaining commitments to sponsors. Duties include: organizing promotionalevents, creating advertising ideas, seeking league and individual team sponsorships, presenting awards at tournaments |
Michael CampbellVice President Communications | The Vice-President of Communications will work closely with the Vice-President of PR. The VP-Comm will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance of the league website, including corporate and team cross-links. Will also assist in photography and other functions of the VP-PR to increase communication within the community and the league. The goal of this office is the efficient dissemination of information both within the members of the league and between the league and the community. |
Chris GibsonTreasurer/Registrar | The Treasurer shall control all monies of the League and shall keep records of all income and expenditures. Makes sure that all financial responsibilities of the league are met in order to keep the league running.

OpenSocial Commissioner | Social Coordinator is appointed by the President. Term to run concurrent to current board members terms. Will assist VP of marketing/corporate relations with setting up events with corporate sponsors. Will also assist league registrar during registration events at sponsors. Is to be public face of the board as far as social events are concerned, will organize at least 2 league socials/season and end of season awards ceremony at the sponsors location. |
